Important Platform Differences
Portable .vylos configurations retain Cellular and Ethernet On-Demand values even when the current platform cannot trigger them. Vylos labels Cellular as iOS only on macOS and visionOS, and Ethernet as macOS only on iOS and visionOS.
Current Apple Vision Pro hardware is Wi-Fi only. visionOS has no separate Light or Dark appearance, so Vylos uses native adaptive system glass and does not expose an Appearance selector.
The Vylos Quick Look extension and QR scanner are unavailable on visionOS. Historical bandwidth charts require iOS 16 or macOS 13, while iOS 15 and macOS 12 still show cumulative totals plus live handshake and transfer counters.
On macOS 13 or later, Start at Login uses a system login-item toggle. On macOS 12, Vylos sends you to System Preferences → Users & Groups → Login Items to add the app manually.
Per-app VPN requires MDM enrollment, an AppLayerVPN profile using ProviderType=packet-tunnel, and app assignments that share the profile's VPNUUID. See Configure Per-App VPN for the complete deployment workflow.
